Zari and Brandon’s Kualoa Ranch wedding video is more than just a highlight reel—it was about celebrating everything they’ve already built together. After five years, three kids, and two businesses, this Hawaii wedding was their moment to slow down and focus on each other.
Their Hawaii photographer, Krystal, originally recommended Moli’i Gardens at Kualoa Ranch—but plans changed.
“In December, Hawaii passed a law and cancelled all weddings at Moli’i,” Zari explained. “They offered Jumanji and Hale Ka’eo instead, and honestly, when we saw Jumanji, it just made sense.”
With its lush greenery and iconic mountain backdrop, Jumanji at Kualoa Ranch turned out to be the perfect spot for their celebration. Even though they hadn’t visited in person before booking, they trusted their team—and were excited to see it all come to life.
With 18 kids attending, the vibe was guaranteed to be lively. But that’s exactly what Zari and Brandon wanted: something true to them and full of joy.
“This is nice to finally celebrate us and our love story,” Zari shared. “We did things a bit backwards—had babies before we got married—but that’s what makes it so special.”
They kept the ceremony short and sweet, focused on their vows, with no extra rituals. The goal? Keep it simple and meaningful.
Brandon popped the question on Christmas morning with a trio of gifts—each symbolizing mind, body, and soul.
The “body” gift was a cozy onesie because Zari’s always cold. The “mind” gift was a handwritten poem. And for the “soul”? A vintage emerald ring passed down from Brandon’s great-grandmother—nearly 100 years old.
“The emerald is Brandon and our twins’ birthstone too, so it was perfect,” Zari said.
Zari and Brandon knew they wanted more than just photos—they wanted to remember the day fully.
“We want to remember the best day of our lives!” they shared. They were drawn to a videographer who truly loves what they do.
“We went through a lot of videographers, but you stood out right away,” Zari said. “Your passion shows. You capture the funny, the emotional, the happy moments—and your music choices match the vibe.”
Aside from the full squad of little guests, Zari was especially excited about the florals—particularly the hanging flowers in the tent ceiling. It’s details like that, paired with the chaos and charm of a big family celebration, that made the day theirs.
The Jumanji site at Kualoa Ranch offers sweeping landscapes, lush greenery, and a setting that feels both grand and grounded—perfect for couples looking to celebrate love, life, and everything in between.
